Popular once, now retired.

How many times did we travel it wired.

The old road home, with ditches and mud holes.

The old road home, grazing sheep and telegraph poles.

Rifles and rollies, straw hats and green cans...

Much of what it witnessed is either illegal now or banned.

A bumpy road for a bumpy upbringing, where you learn to drive before you're five.

This old road saw life and death and the memories it provides will forever

be

etched.
