Luminary II was inspired by a recent trip to the beaches of Goa, India. Back in the studio when I paint, I use the views from the beach as a starting point, I recollect where I have been, how it made me feel and my paintings take on the space that is between the reality and my daydreams. I hope the viewer can get absorbed into the depth of the paintings and draw their own emotions from the piece This will look great in a modern interior, the colours are very dynamic. This sits beautifully together with Luminary I, its sister painting.
